AOB
- Debby alerted us to a resident bulldozing Beach/shingle land between Wellington Parade and Kingsdown road last week and tearing up vegetation adjacent to his property. Concern about the trees was uppermost. Helen Williams (DDC councillor) was contacted and her action/ correspondence is attached. A temporary TPO was put on the trees for 6 months but in the newsletter report Debby is to include a request to members to be aware of the fact this will TPO will need to be extended by DDC. Could members be proactive in requesting this if they object to the felling of these healthy trees.
- Ian brought to our attention the latest volunteer action that members can be involved in run by the Whitecliffs Countryside Project this summer. This can be accessed from their website. Debby is to include details in her newsletter. ACTION DEBBY.
- 8th October 2025 was agreed for the date of the AGM. to be held at the Kings Head as usual, with a free drink on arrival, but it was decided we would not give a buffet. Sue to contact Amanda at the pub to confirm. ACTION SUE.
NEXT MEETING: 3.30 ON WEDNESDAY JULY 23RD 2025 AT SUE’S HOUSE.
